NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE ULTRA FLAT KITE :
TEST REPORTS

Here are the reports of all kind of riders (different level, builds and spots) that tested the new high tech weapon :

the ultra flat kite.

Florence (intermediate level):
" I was a bit skeptical at the beggining when I was offered a 10m kite in place of my 12 m, I am a small build - 122 pounds - but I like to have enough power to jump high. And it's on this point that I felt very surprised: I was able to start jumping in 12-13 knots of wind… the hangtime of the kite is really huge.. I had far enough power to make tricks, in spite of my rather small board (129x34) for those wind conditions. As soon as the wind rose a bit (15-16 knots), I really had the sensation of gliding high and for a long time. So my tricks were easier, and since the wing turns really fast on tips, I even tried kiteloops that I daren't generally do! I went out of the water delighted, it was such a good session ! "

Stephan (competing rider):
"It's a very good kite to jump high. With it I can go very high and perform very big jumps. The kiteloops are fast but rather soft. Futhermore, I found that the relaunch was very easy. "

Gerard (waves addict):
"I appreciate its capacity to go upwind as well as it's discretion when surfing, as the wings stay super stable, even when very sheeted out."

Yannick (beginner-intermediate):
"The hang-up of this kite is incredible, all you have to do is to sheet in and you take off, right from the first jump I flew away! I had never seen that before, I love it! Futhermore, this kite is very sane and easy to use, after a few minutes I had it under control and I adopted it! "

Antonio, who tested the 14.5m2 version:
"Regarding the kite, it just keeps impressing me. I have been out everyday since last Friday with winds from 9knots to 25+ with the 14.5 and let me tell you, this thing is just unreal. The hang time is sick as it feels that you only come down when you want. The re-launch ability is amazing and extremely quick with hardly no effort. I dropped the kite a few times do test the re-launch. At one time with hardly no wind I dropped it right next to a 17M, the guy couldn't do nothing with his kite even downwind but all I had to do was pull one side line and the kite just flew up. The frame is rigid like never before, no movement whatsoever when it turns. "

Fred, advanced rider, owns a 10m et kitesurfs in the tradewinds:
"It's a high performance kite, with a very large wind range, I only use this wing, whatever the windspeed is. I'm often the first and the last one on the water, even with very light wind (weight 150 pds, custom board 132*40cm). The profile of the kite allows to go upwind much more efficiently than with the others kites, what is very nice and allows upwinders followed by downwinders in the Las Terrenas reef. The kite delivers a constant power, no need to move it to create more apparent wind. A push / pull action on the bar is enough to control the power according to the wind's one. It looses all its power when you sheet in too much, but finds back its balance easily and naturally, without pulling on the bar. Being used to ride with a 12m Crossbow, this 10m kite seems to me more powerfull. It turns very fast on itself, what is very interesting for the kite loops and turns.. "

Steve, started kitesurfing a few time ago and ride in Brittany:
"I rode yesterday in Bretagne with my 10meters in 25 30 knots of wind, and a guy on the beach recorded with his skywatch burst to 34 knots!!! And I was OK, in spite of my level. I jumped ultra high!! Today 15-20 knots, super too. "
